Description

Generally suitable for cleaning, derusting, smoothing, cleaning of weld seams, light deburring, and removal of corrosion and paint.

Brushes with brass wire filament material are suitable for particular applications such as surface finishing on workpieces made from copper and brass. In comparison to steel wire, brass wire is softer and more flexible. For all brushes with brass wire, PFERD uses wire quality CuZn37.

Brass wire withstands temperatures up to 180 °C.

Advantages
  • Highly flexible, enabling optimal adjustment to the workpiece contour.
  • Non-sparking.
  • Creates fine surfaces.
Recommendations for use
  • Please observe the recommended rotational speeds.
  • For the best results, use a tool drive with a minimum output of 300 watts.
Safety notes
  • When clamping the brush, ensure that the shank is clamped as far into the arbor as possible. This applies in particular for use in the high rotational speed range. The minimum clamping length is 10 mm.
