The prices for tungsten-based raw materials have skyrocketed over the past few months, which is having a knock-on effect on the cost of tungsten carbide tools. To help you as much as possible in this situation, our tungsten carbide recycling scheme provides a simple way to recover the value of the materials in your worn tools.
Scrap tungsten carbide contains valuable raw materials such as tungsten and cobalt, which can be recycled and reused in the production cycle. You benefit in several ways: not only do you earn money from your used tungsten carbide, it also helps to conserve precious resources.
Our tungsten carbide recycling scheme – it couldn’t be simpler:
- On request, we will provide you with recycling boxes free of charge.
- You can collect tungsten carbide tools and tools made of both tungsten carbide and steel in the boxes, up to a weight of 24 kg. It doesn’t matter which manufacturer or brand they are.
- Once the box is full, pack it into a shipping box and send it to the following address:

Deutschland/Germany - Once we receive the items, we separate brazed tools from solid carbide and calculate the weight of the pure tungsten carbide.
- We then promptly let you know the calculated weight and how much it is worth, which is based on the current tungsten carbide price.
- You receive a credit note from us within two weeks.
- To enable you to seamlessly continue using the recycling scheme, we will then provide you with a new recycling box.
