Description

Tungsten carbide burrs with the MICRO cut with high-quality HICOAT coating HC-FEP are specially designed for fine stock removal and are used in areas in which mounted/grinding points are used, for example. They offer a much higher stock removal rate than mounted/grinding points and impress with their high milled surface quality. They also operate with low vibration and little noise. They maintain their geometry over their entire tool life, and are well suited to manual and machine applications. Almost all materials up to a hardness of 68 HRC can be machined. They also allow for a longer tool life and use at higher cutting speeds in comparison with uncoated burrs.

Almost all materials up to a hardness of 68 HRC can be machined. They also allow for a longer tool life and use at higher cutting speeds in comparison with uncoated burrs.

Cylindrical burr according to DIN 8032.

Advantages
  • High-quality HICOAT coating for high hardness and wear resistance.
  • Unlike with mounted grinding points, there is no change in geometry due to wear and tear.
  • Use on almost all materials up to 68 HRC.
  • The highly accurate concentricity enables impactfree working without creating chatter marks. This considerably reduces wear on the tool and tool drive.
Recommendations for use
  • Particularly well suited to finishing, for very fine cleaning work, corrections in tool and mould construction or for sharpening cutting tools.
